Kim Kardashian lands a role in Tyler Perry's next movie Joins The Marriage Counselor
Do you like this story?
Kim Kardashian, the American socialite probably best known for reality TV series Keeping Up With The Kardashians, has landed her first major film role.
According to Deadline, she'll co-star in Tyler Perry's next, The Marriage Counselor.
She won't play Judith, the titular adviser (that's Jurnee Smollett), but she'll play Ava, "a co-worker who gives Judith a big city makeover and new confidence as she struggles with her personal issues."
Depending on your stance on Kardashian, this either sounds like your next favourite movie or the four-minute warning for an impending apocalypse.
Tyler Perry's films have consistently defied the critics to become box office dynamite, and given Kardashian's ubiquitous celebrity, that's unlikely to change here.
Kardashian has previously acted in Disaster Movie and Deep In The Valley, and she has had guest spots in TV shows Beyond The Break and CSI: NY.
